Molino di Molanoce
Massa Martana (Perugia)
Villa Sanfaustino, 87
In Umbria, the green heart of Italy, you’ll find the Molanoce ancient water mill, a stone and wood construction dating back to the 1100s, which has been converted into three apartments and one studio room.
The property is located in an area rich in archaeological remains, such as Carsulae, and is a key part of Umbria’s typical rural landscape. From Molanoce, just a short drive takes you to Todi, Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi, Spoleto, Montefalco, Bevagna, the Marmore Falls, Norcia and Lake Trasimeno, wonderful places to explore in this enchanting region.
The agriturismo is the headquarters of the Umbrian Gastronomy Association, and guests can find out about the local culinary traditions, as well enjoying the chance to be one of the privileged few who, thanks to a great expert, get to discover the RE TARTUFO, a prized local truffle: the different types, how it’s collected, how it’s cooked and... what it tastes like.
